A bit of a mixed bag this week. Books, obviously but also some beautiful things that aren’t books too. Just to keep you on your toes…
I’m going to keep mentioning The Book People because I love their prices and even though I do spend a large proportion of my book-buying filling up my Kindle these days, I still have to get my paperback fix and I’d much rather do that at my local bookshop. But if I have very few funds (not an uncommon occurrence), I have a browse at this site. Anyway, it’s getting to that time of year when I have to think about what books to get my kids for Christmas, because my kids’ Christmas presents are approximately 90% book-related, and The Book People still have this voucher code that is valid until the end of the month that gets you 5% off your order when you spend £20 or more. So after rifling through their YA selection, I’ve found this Benjamin Zephaniah 3 book set for £4.99, Hollow Pikeby James Dawson for just £3.49 and A Swift Pure Cry by Siobhan Dowd for the same price. Of course, all these books are for me and not my children, but you get the idea…
The Hive Store always has interesting offers and this one is particularly lovely – get 50% off selected box set collections, including Narnia and Harry Potter ones. Of course, we all have the Harry Potter ones already, but just in case you know anyone who might not. Unlikely I know.
And now for the not-books-but-book-related loveliness. I might have featured some of these prints before but I think you’ll agree they’re worth mentioning again. Anyway, this Allposters.co.uk discount vouchergets you 25% off your order, which may or may not include these beauties…
I think that’s quite a nice note to end on don’t you? *orders all the posters*
